Jean Paul Gaultier is the leading star of our Eeastpak Artist Studio 2014 collaboration. The eccentric of French fashion design is known for many things and boring is not one of them. Revealed today, Gaultier's creation is a bag that transforms into a embroidered bomber jacket and vice versa. It took one Eastpak backpack and three vintage bombers for the fabulous end result that is true to Gaultier's vision. We especially love that he chose to place our DAA logo in the beautiful embroidery. The bag is auctioned online on World Aids Day on December 1st with proceeds going to Designer Against Aids iniatives. Gaultier's last ever ready-to-wear show took place during Paris Fashion Week in September, where customized Eastpak bags were sneakily featured on the runway. He is now focusing solely on Haute Couture. Thank you Jean Paul for joining the fight against Aids with us!
