This year’s AIDS/LifeCycle was taking place last week. The AIDS/LifeCycle is a 7-day, 545 mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles that raises money and awareness for the HIV and AIDS services of the Los Angeles LGBT Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.  This marks the fourteenth year for AIDS/LifeCycle and the twenty-second for the event overall.

Drag Race favourites Willam Belli and Alaska Thunderfuck 5000 teamed up to support this year’s Aids/LifeCycle, not by joining the annual bike ride from San Francisco to L.A., but by releasing a song about it. The song is called ‘Ride for AIDS’ and is made on the melody of Taylor Swift’s hit song ‘Blank Space’.

The ladies want to make people get up and do something for a good cause. The two queens may not be cycling themselves, but that doesn’t mean they’re not fundraising, and you can donate to their campaign, which will support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

You can still be a part of this by a donation: Designers Against Aids thinks this song is going to be a big hit and lucky for all of us it’s available on Spotify!
