Because we feel that it’s high time that models can also be seen as models with a responsible behaviour, we started  the Models against AIDS group on Facebook and via our website last year.

Famous ‘Faces of MAA’ are Belgian topmodels Elise Crombez, Anouck Lepère and Hannelore Knuts and the group is still growing daily, currently reaching up to 3000 members. Not just models but also fashion designers, photographers  and other people who work in the creative community plus lots of young people who dream of becoming a model one day are part of this group.

MAA members practice & speak out about safe sex,and not only to their friends but also in interviews, at schools, etc. Some also donate 1% of their yearly salary to Designers against AIDS to help us with our HIV/AIDS awareness work.

Shimizu, Jessica Stam, An Oost, Marpessa, Alda Balestra von Stauffenberg, Anina Net,
Rosalie van Breemen, Kylie Bax Paros, Roos Van Bosstraeten, Kim Peers, Maggie Rizer, Lisa
Ratliffe, Rachel A. Zimmermann, Anouck Lepère, Lisa L’anson and Janina Erichsen and
fashion designers such as Georgina Chapman, Bas Kosters, Jan Taminiau, Georgina Goodman,
Jennifer Nicholson, Helen Storey and Corinne Cobson.
