After a whole week of working full-time at Designers Against Aids, my time here has run out. Before working here as an intern I wasn’t fully aware of the consequences of HIV/AIDS and how this disease surrounds us.

 

I enjoyed collaborating with my collegues and have learnt a lot from this experience. This job has given me an opportunity to be more creative, by helping the crew to find new ways to raise awareness. My partner and I made a new Instagram account and gave ideas for the upcoming website India Against Aids.

 

Working here was also challenging, having to come up with something to write about everyday required a lot of thinking and research. This organization has inspired me, seeing how passionate the people here are about raising awareness globally.

 

If you guys haven’t volunteered at an organization for a good cause thus far, I’d encourage all of you to do so ASAP as it is an exhilarating experience – I promise!
