This week we're very busy: not only are we expecting a visit from a film crew to shoot a video here, but we're also working on expanding and promoting the DAA Online Charity Shop. Yesterday we launched a section with unique hand made clothes and accesories from India. Everything is emboidered by hand and you can be sure that it was produced according to Fair Trade conditions. Today we're working on the vintage Hmong collection from Thailand and I must admit that after just one afternoon I am already in love with those Hmong embroideries! The really special thing about this collection is that an Antwerp fashion designer has used all these vintage fabrics (some are over 40 years old!) and has made modern pieces out of them, combining the vintage textiles with red velvet, soft denim, printed cottons, suede and/or leather.

So far we've upploaded around 20 vintage bags, purses, skirts - and even one pair of amazing sandals! When I saw them, I was really dissapointed that I don't have bigger feet. Maybe you're more lucky than I am - and your feet are a size 41 - in which case I'm really jealous! And this is not everything that we have from this collection. We're going to introduce some other lovely pieces in next few days - wait for it & check back often!

I'm sure that in both sections there will be really nice surprises for you, as every item was made with love and is special.
