Designers against AIDS is planning to open their new headquarters and the International HIV/AIDS Awareness Education Center (IHAEC) in Deurne/Antwerp. At IHAEC, we will give workshops to students from all over the world, to inspire them and teach them how to set up creative HIV prevention campaigns and projects aimed at youth, using elements from popculture such as music, fashion, the internet and celebrities.  The building is being renovated right now and for its completion, decoration, furniture and school supplies we still need a considerable amount of funding, for which we’re asking your help.
We’re aiming to find 400 sponsors (private persons, companies, foundations and institutions) who each donate 1000 euros via one of our project accounts (which means that your donations are fully tax deductible), about which we can inform you in more detail. Donations in kind (such as furniture) are also very welcome.
In return for your donation, you will receive an invitation for the official IHAEC opening and reception on June 25th (valid for 2 persons) and your name (or that of your company, or your logo) will also be mentioned on the invitation, on our website and on a special plaque in the center. Contact ninette@designersagainstaids.com for more details about this project.
