Breaking news: Jean Paul Gaultier and Eastpak have another surprise for you, they are set to join forces once again and will support Designers against AIDS with a new collection of backpacks! Following the success of this year’s edition of Eastpak Artist Studio, comes a new collaborative collection inspired by some of Jean Paul Gaultier’s most iconic catwalk pieces.

The famous supersonic jet pilot uniform, leather biker jacket, bomber jacket and denim jacket have been recast in the form of Eastpak’s own iconic creation: the Padded Pak’r® backpack. Be on the lookout in February for the first, limited-edition bags from this very special collection. Each one infused with a blend of signature Gaultier design elements and Eastpak’s uncompromising functionality.

Part of the proceeds will go to Designers Against AIDS to help boost awareness for HIV/AIDS and bring real change to the lives of millions around the world. The Eastpak X Jean Paul Gaultier Limited Edition collection hits stores in February 2015, followed by the main collection in April.

Stay tuned for more details and the first photos of the bags and watch the teaser video here:
