Founded 10 years ago by former US Ambassador Richard Holbrooke with Bill Gates (Microsoft) and Ted Turner (CNN),  the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria unites companies ready to commit to the global fight against these three diseases. They offer a platform where companies can find partners and organizations that need help, thereby improving the effectiveness of the interaction between companies and non-profit organisations. Companies can support these organizations with their expertise and resources and the organizations from their side create an opportunity for those companies to give back to the community. In their first ten years, the GBC already had a great, global impact and this is growing steadily- as are the number of members.
With around 300 active members including MAC Cosmetics, Shell, L'Oreal and American Express -among many others- DAA is very proud to be one of the new GBC members!
