And then there were two instead of one... When we started the workshops for 'Asia against AIDS-Back To Zero: Indonesia' with two twin sisters from Jakarta named Dila and Dita Amalia, little did we know that both of them were equally talented and motivated to make a success of this new platform, that DAA has created to reach out to millions of young people in Indonesia via social media, to give them the right information about HIV/AIDS in their country, where they can get a cheap or free HIV test and sexual counseling and most of all: how they can prevent themselves and their friends from getting infected with the virus! All done in a fun and upbeat way on social media (website, Facebook page, Twitter) and using pop culture like we always do, as that's a thing young people really love. Welcome to the DAA Family, Dita & Dila!

The major difference between our main website designersagainstaids.com and the new platform is that we will also be using local Indonesian pop artists (in fact a few big names already confirmed, so keep your eyes peeled to learn more!) and that we will adapt the way we send out our messaging to be culturally appropriate for Indonesia- without deviating from the truth, obviously!
I don't know who is more excited today: the girls because they found a dream job that also makes them feel good and inspired, or me because the first steps of 'Asia against AIDS-Back To Zero'  are going so very well.
Can't wait to see what the future brings! First we want to establish the platform in Indonesia and then we'll do the same thing all over again in India, China and more countries in Asia. Can't wait to make this happen and to save millions of young lives!
