Durex marketeers know very well that controversy is one of the best and most effective ways to get people talking about your product, which is the whole point of advertising.  As you probably have noticed, somehow they always know how to make extremely interesting, funny, creative, attractive- and at the same time edgy, boundary-pushing commercials. Sometimes they have gone a little too far in this regard and they ’ve had their ads banned from airing for being considered  too controversial.
