Yesterday afternoon we opened the exhibition 'Customized for DAA' in the exhibit space of our Pop Up Shop in Antwerp's City Hall with works by artists such as Marina Yee, Claudia Rosa Lukas, Romy Smits, Nathalie Hunter, Diane Pernet/Pierre Marie Agin, Tim Van Steenbergen and Jenny Mörtsell. The legendary Belgian weather did its best to rain on our parade, but a constant stream of people kept coming through our doors, including a team from newspaper Gazet Van Antwerpen (check out Ninette & a glimpse of the
exhibition in today's edition) and four students from the Art Institute of Chicago, who are over as part of a field trip in Europe with their teacher Anke Loh, a graduate from the Antwerp Academy and a long time supporter of DAA and art collective Beauty without Irony. They are coming to visit us this Saturday at our IHAEC center, so watch this space for photos of their visit. We would like to give a big thanks to Vitamin Water, Vedett, Wine World, Ultimatum and the City of Antwerp for their support of this event.
If you did not make it to our opening, the exhibition  and the Pop Up Shop are still open on the following dates: June 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 20, each time from 1-6 PM. So hurry, hurry...
