Last Friday night the World Fashion Centre in Amsterdam was the place to be for the incrowd, DAA supporters and the network of Hotelschool The Hague, who organized this classy event.

Presented by Dutch 'enfant terrible' fashion designer Bas Kosters (who also DJ-ed afterwards with his collegue Mme Bloesjevol) we saw four catwalk shows by Darja Gontscharov (one of our students!), DAA, Nathalie d'Anvers and David Paulus, action painting by Malcolm Roxs (who donated 3 paintings for the live auction) and an auction with wonderful prizes such as couture dresses and holidays in 4/5 star hotels all over Europe- there even was a boat trip from Monaco to St Tropez for up to 9 people up for auction, including free champagne all day long! Not for the skipper, hopefully;-) On top of that, hostesses walked around all evening, offering tasty amuses to the hungry and very elegant crowd and Sound of Monaco (a DJ and a musician playing violin and guitar- not simultanously, obviously) created funky soundscapes for the catwalk shows and the auction.

Fun was had by all and we'll know very soon how much money was raised for DAA that night. We'll be uploading a video of Fashion for Life tonight and want to take this opportunity to thank the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, models, make-up artists and everybody else who made this evening a success. You guys and gals rock!
