In November 2012 Secretary of State Hillary Clinton launched a new global health report that could be the blueprint for an AIDS-Free Generation. The report is based on research done in four distinctly different epidemics in Africa. The results show that the sooner AIDS treatment reaches infected people as part of a combination of proven interventions, the faster the numbers of new infections will decline. Of course these results are transferable to the US and the rest of the world as well, which could make this a solution to ending the global AIDS epidemic.
