Today we have put the first exclusive pieces of our DAA/Hmong collection online for sale at fashion-vintage.com

The collection consists of shoulder bags, skirts and coin purses/make-up bags that are hand made in Belgium by an artist/seamstress who also works for wellknown fashion designers, using vintage Hmong fabrics (some over 50 years old) that we sourced in Thailand. These beautiful Hmong fabrics feature hand embroidery, batik, blockprint and/or patchwork and have been made by women of the Hmong tribe years ago, with a lot of love and attention to detail.

By combining these fabrics with soft denim, suede and red velvet, we have given the pieces a very contemporary edge, while the pieces still are timeless and unique enough to wear for years to come.

All proceeds from the sales of these items will be used for our International HIV/AIDS Awareness Education Center (IHAEC) that we plan to open this June in Antwerp, Belgium.
