Miley Cyrus, the 20-years-old artist and performer who until some years ago used to play as Hannah Montana for Disney and sing "Jolene" with Dolly Parton in front of a frenzied crowd of children, is now becoming a 'real' woman. Crazy internet fight with Shinead O'Connor: check. Fake HIV infection: double check. Wow girl, you're working hard! What's wrong? I really hope it's nothing and it's just a smart campaign already planned some time ago by your PR team.

Last Wednesday, the website 4chan started a massive prank targeting Miley Cyrus. After the creation of the Facebook page and Twitter hashtag "#Cureformiley", the news that Miley Cyrus contracted AIDS - which is not even correct, they should say HIV, instead of AIDS - was spread throughout the social media. The news became huge in few hours and people were also invited to donate money to Miley so that she could be able to afford treatments (donate money to Miley? Seriously?!). By the way, now you can also read a document with the reasons for this prank: apparently the author of the hoax wanted the masses to believe Miley being HIV+ to give an explanation for some facts like the end of her relationship with Liam Hemsworth, her "irrational sexuality on stage" and in general for her whole change of image.

Furthermore, after Miley stated on the pages of Rolling Stone that her video "Wrecking Ball" was inspired by Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U", the Irish singer felt the need to write an open letter to Miley - inspired by a "spirit of motherliness and with love [...] The music business doesn't give a shit about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth and cleverly make you think it's what YOU wanted ... and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, 'they' will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone".

This was just the first act of a catfight that you can follow here but actually you would just need to know that it could be ending with the involvement of lawyers' - again, spirit of motherliness and love. Even Annie Lennox chipped in, saying that she's 'disturbed and dismayed' by the amount of 'pornographic' videos that have recently been released.

When I see these kind of stories I feel so lucky for being just a random person in the world and not a public figure. Having a crowd of fans and a worldwide audience looking at you -and especially at your mistakes and fails- is less stressful, just something that simply drives you crazy. Take care Miley, have fun and, since you're now apparently an expert in the joy of sex, "wrap it up, before you fuck it up"!
