Since I started here at Designers Against AIDS, I learned a lot more about HIV and AIDS. I now daily browse the web searching for extra information. This morning, I stumbled upon this article where they stated that HIV could make hearing worse. This is something I didn't know about before, so I searched for more articles about this subject.

In short, adults with HIV have poorer low- and high-frequency hearing than other people of the same age who don't have the virus. This was deduced from a study in which they studied adults with and without HIV. This study is one of the few that have investigated this matter so it's hard to be certain about the results.

I'm not sure if I should believe a conclusion that derived from so few studies. Oh well, let's just say it gave us a heads up. If I read anything else about this, you guys will be the first ones to know!
