...at least, that’s what Twitter told us in the last few weeks. After false reports surfaced about her status, the social media universe went crazy with hashtags like #pray4nicki. Good news is of course that there is no proof or any official news item that talks about Nicki having HIV, so it seems to be just a hoax. There is a connection between Nicki and HIV however, but it’s a lot safer. She designed a lipstick for MAC’s Viva Glam campaign last year and again this year and the proceeds of selling these lipsticks will go to several HIV/AIDS awareness projects all over the world. Designers against AIDS was a beneficiary two years ago, when Lady Gaga was heading the Viva Glam campaign and Nicki's lipstick sells ever better than Lady Gaga's did! As a spokesperson for the MAC campaign she reached out to her fans talking about losing an uncle to HIV and how we should never forget that HIV is not ‘just a gay disease’. Smart girl!  How about we take her example and stay HIV free? Use a condom, sweethearts!
