In May 2010 we started our first IHAEC workshop ‘Creating a safe sex concept for festivals' and we're happy to announce that our 4 students did a marvellous job. After three intensive months of training, attending different events in Belgium such as Antwerp Pride and Mano Mundo our first group graduated with honours.

During this workshop the students were faced with a couple of obstacles, for example what do you do when someone confronts you and says HIV doesn't exists? How do you create a campaign with a limited budget? We taught our students how to deal with different situations-or challenges, as we like to call them-, finding solutions, thinking big and especially being creative. Our students are now able to set up an interactive HIV/AIDS campaign on their own and spread the word! Would you like to participate in an IHAEC workshop? Feel free to contact us by sending an e-mail to info@designersagainstaids.com

We would like to thank our first group of students, ‘Sensoa' and ‘Het Roze Huis' for participating in this workshop.
