Last Saturday we had a visit from 12 students and 2 teachers from the fashçon department of the Art Institute Of Chicago. They had come over as part of the NU_Fashion #1 exhibition at the Red Fish Factory here in Antwerp (http://www.nu1.be/), where they exhibited some of their works and got to meet the fashion students of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and they were touring Europe for a few weeks to get to know al aspects of the fashion industry here. Their teacher Anke Loh,wanted them to get to know DAA and IHAEC and we already met someof them the day before at the Pop-Up Shop. Me and Darja talked about our backgrounds and our activities here at the foundation and they told us what they had been doing and whom they had met. It was very nice and interesting to talk to other young creatives, I really enjoyed our exchanges. Who knows when and where we might meet them again? Maybe we will doing a project together for DAA, or one of the students wants to attend an upcoming workshop at IHAEC, who knows?!
