Denim brand Lee Cooper is 100 years young this year and to celebrate this fact, they organise a charity auction in Paris on September 29th  at Drouot Montaigne, with all proceeds going to the Red Cross France and to Designers against AIDS, for their HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention work. Up for auction are special denim-themed pieces by artists and  designers such as JC de Castelbajac, Playboy ( a wonderful denim bunny outfit plus an artwork handsigned by Hugh Hefner), Chicks on Speed, Marc Atlan, Pia Myrvold, Alain Mikli, Iro Ito, Jade Jagger, Landrover (a brand new jeep with denim covered seats, anyone?), Marshall amps and many, many more- 100 pieces in total and each of them unique. You can download the Auction Book, and if you can’t make it to Paris on September 29th, you can call or mail to Drouot with your highest bid on the piece(s) you’d like to buy and they will do the rest (for details see the Auction Book).
