On the 10th of April it’s National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NYHAAD). NYHAAD tries to acknowledge the needs of young people with HIV and AIDS. Each year, young activists in high schools and at colleges and universities will use this day to organize and educate about HIV and AIDS. Today’s young people are the first generation who have never known a world without HIV and AIDS. Every month, 1.000 young people are infected with HIV and over 76.400 young people are currently living with HIV across the country.

Designers against Aids wants to support National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day and that’s why we want YOU to show us your sign! Take a selfie or get friends involved and post it on Instagram (#designersagainstaids), Twitter  (@DAA) or/and on Facebook (www.facebook.com/designersagainstaids ) on the 10th of April. Sharing your photo is one way to express your commitment to an AIDS-free generation. Print one of the banner templates located on the last two pages of the PDF (*) and personalize it however you like. Post the picture with #NYHAAD,  #YouthAIDSDay and #designersagainstaids

See you all on Friday!
