Fashion against AIDS 2008

In spring 2008 H&M and Designers Against AIDS joined forces in the battle against AIDS for the first time and launched a collection for guys and girls together with Rihanna, Timbaland and other well-known designers, musicians and artists. The aim of FAA is to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS, which affects many young people all over the world. The first “Fashion Against AIDS” collection was available in H&M’s Divided departments in 28 countries worldwide, the artists participated free of charge and 25 per cent of the sales value from the collection went to HIV/AIDS-prevention projects around the world.

 

The artists taking part in the first edition of “Fashion Against AIDS” were Rihanna, Chicks on Speed, Good Charlotte, Henrik Vibskov, Jade Jagger, Justice, Katharine Hamnett, My Chemical Romance, Rufus Wainwright, Scissor Sisters, The Cardigans, Tiga, Timbaland, Justice and Ziggy Marley.
