I have two bits of news today, good and bad. The bad one is that I won’t write about HIV/AIDS or LGBT today and the good one is that I spent a great weekend and I will write about that instead.

Last weekend I visited my friend’s family in Tervuren and it was so good. Tervuren is a little town which is very close to Brussels. It is very calm, peaceful and relaxing. I think  I liked everything about it, especially the riding school!

On Saturday we went to Brussels to visit some places that I haven’t been able to visit yet. First we went to Montgomery by tram. What a perfect voyage between the woods! Then, we walked until the Parc du Cinquantenaire and visited the military museum in order to see the aircrafts. I loved the view of the city from the top of the building. It was so beautiful.

After Cinquantenaire, we were dying for a dessert so we went to Lilicups for cupcakes. Although there was a huge queue and the workers were extremely slow, the cupcakes were worth waiting for. I recommend you try the “tout chocolat”. Believe me, you won’t regret it.

We spent the rest of our day walking on Avenue Louise, Avenue de la Toison D’or and Boulevard de Waterloo. Before we went back to Tervuren, we had a dinner in Ellis Gourmet Burger in St. Catherine. Oh, I love burgers! At the end of the day, I was exhausted, but I spent a great day in Brussels and had so much fun.

A Bientot!
