Hello all! I’d like to take a little of your time to introduce myself as a new intern here at DAA. My name is Gladys and I’m a student of BA Translation and Interpreting Studies at Middlesex University in London. Few months ago when I was in the process of finding some work experience as part of my degree, I came across DAA at my work focused lectures. The title of the organisation stood up by itself among the other (way more boring) names of companies so I decided to give it a go and did some research on what the purpose was and what they do there. I’ve always been interested in social issues such as nature (global warming blah blah) and what can be done to preserve it, politics, news around the world and just general things that are present in our day to day life and, especially, affect us all. HIV is among them directly or not and we should all be aware that it exists and what we can do about it. I am so excited I’ve got the chance to get involved in this cause, use my skills towards this purpose and simply, just to help get the message spread! In other words, let’s get started :)
