Have you attended any baby showers lately? If your answer is yes, you might have bumped into bizarre cakes... Vagina shaped cakes are the most popular for these events these days.

In some countries, a baby shower is a way to celebrate the pending or recent birth of a child by presenting gifts to the mother at a party that is commonly "women-only" social gatherings. Cake and finger foods are often served at baby showers. Like in weddings, birthdays and any other celebrations, the cake is the most important thing in baby showers too.

Besides the taste, the appearance of the cakes is also very important. There are many questions to answer. Not also ‘Was it a fun party?’ or ‘Was the cake delicious?’ but also ‘Was the mom really creative?’ ‘Were the guests influenced enough?’ ‘Will everybody talk about the cake after the party?’ Because of that, serving vagina shaped cakes is a popular trend around the world.

Although I think that the idea of vagina cakes is creative and expressive, I found the cakes very gross and disturbing.
