As you could read in my post from yesterday I went to Triple A (the Antwerp Advertising Awards)  last night. And just like I expected it was a really nice evening! The Award show took place in Amuz in Antwerp, an old church that now gets used for all sorts of parties and events. Normally Kobe Ilsen, a famous Flemish TV presenter, would have presented the show but due to circumstances he couldn’t make it. That’s why two girls of my class presented the show and they did a really good job.

During the show five elected campaigns got presented, one of the campaigns was made by a group of students from my class. These campaigns got judged by a professional jury. The group of my class didn’t win, but they can be very proud of themselves because they got elected in the first place. The winners were two girls (picture) that made a very original campaign: they came up with an idea to help homeless people in Antwerp. Their idea is that homeless people can be guides for people who want to see Antwerp in a different way and who want to hear different stories than you would normally get during a tour in Antwerp. They even found a number of homeless people that were very enthusiastic about giving their personal tour in our lovely city that way.

I’m convinced that people of Antwerp will hear more about this project soon and I hope that everyone will love it as much as I do, so it can become a big success!
